Welcome to our web site where we can possibly share some interests in gardening, fishing and other things. This site is shared since my husband and I have our different interests. For example, he is an Amateur Radio operator and I am interested in quilting and various projects dealing with fabrics. We both share certain interests such as fishing, traveling, bicycle riding and more. Some pages are password protected since they contain family photos but most are open to anyone. Many people have contacted us wanting more information concerning fishing trips in Canada, so we made a page for each year we visited upper Ontario near Azilda and were flown in to a lake each time by Sudbury Aviation. We will be going again this summer but without our regular companion Sadie our 20 pound dog who passed away July 2008 from kidney failure.
My husband often says that if we were to hit the lottery jackpot, we would surely move to Canada and purchase land with a large lake. Even though we may be getting too old to obtain a pilots license, we would have to hire a full time pilot to take us sight seeing and fishing in exotic Canadian bodies of water. This year a U.S. Passport is required to enter Canada and to enter back into the USA. The Canadians are very friendly and we have never seen a policeman or police vehicle in the past years we have gone fishing there. We were advised to have a small hand held aircraft radio with us this time just in case we may need help while at the lake. As an emergency backup in the event of rain, we are taking along another 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle which passes the time along with listening to a local radio station from Sudbury, Ontario.
Why not check out our many pages, especially if you are into Amateur Radio, fishing, quilting or just plain curious. Many pages have drop down secondary pages to make the site somewhat compact.
