After suffering for 2 years (2008-2010) with my right hip slowly getting worse, we decided to see a surgeon who specialized in hip replacements. Also, with that Obama guy as president, we worried about not having any insurance soon since he wants Americans to accept socialized medicine where the average American would have to pay for his people to have free healthcare. Also, when a person reaches the age of 70, they may be required to attend a panel of Obama doctors to see if they are wealthy enough to continue living after any serious ailment. Here are a few Videos thanks to YouTube describing the surgery I had on October 6, 2010 at Saint Joseph Hospital outside of Baltimore, Maryland. I must say there was little pain after the surgery until we were required to begin physical therapy the following morning there in the hospital. Therapy was gradual and in 3 days was walking with a cane and able to get into my wife's car and return home. The hospital sent a therapist to the house and for 2 weeks was shown how to do the excercises both while on the bed and when standing, holding onto a kitchen counter. They made certain I could drive my car and then I began therapy about a mile from home. This continued for 2 months when I was able to get around without my cane. My Surgeon, Dr Stuart Winakur checked me out each month for 3 months. It was discovered that my left leg was 9 milimeters shorter than my right but soon adjusted to the difference with just barely a limp now. I must say that Saint Joseph hospital is the best I have ever been to.
Am presently preparing to visit a surgeon for complications brought about by being in the hospital. Hospitals should strongly describe why and how and the complications when patients become constipated after the surgery caused by being given rather strong pain medicines, Oxycodene and Ibuprofen. My constipation was so bad from straining in the hospital that it caused a scrotal inguinal hernia making it difficult to do some daily tasks. Will soon have laproscopic surgery and hopefully it will solve my problem. Being at the age of 70 makes it even more difficult since health insurance from my previous employer was stopped and had to switch over using a cheap Medicare supplement from some outfit called AARP. When I saw who the ARRP had as their CEO, I knew then that Obama paid them off to setup for selling health insurance.
